Fairmount Fundraisers 
Our largest fundraising efforts at Fairmount include:
- Silent Auction (Cancelled for 2021)
- Firebirds on the Fairway (September 24, 2021)
- Books With the Birds (January/February 2022)
- Fairmount Firebird 5K Chase (April/May 2022)
- King Soopers and Safeway Grocery Card Programs (Year Round)
Additional Fundraisers Include:
Each year we identify “big ticket items” in order to enhance the Fairmount Elementary experience. In past 3 years, we have purchased:
$11,000 in Chromebooks
$30,000 in Mimeo Boards (2021)
1000 new books for the library
12 new sound systems for classrooms
$19,400 in iPads and cases
$25,000 in classroom furniture
$2,800 for water bottle filling station
$7,800 for field trips and classroom activities
Fundraising efforts this year, with a $55,000 goal, will go towards purchasing more Mimeo Boards, replacement iPads and Chromebooks, the Kindness Crew, supporting a Reading Interventionist, funding of an Author Visit, and the rest of our wonderful PTA supported programs.
