Last Day to Order Summer Bridge Books

The PTA is offering an educational program for the summer that can help maintain your child’s skill levels while having fun. These play-to-learn kits include fun materials to engage families - your choices of amazing learning kits or award-winning activity books.

Kits cost $50 and include:

• Age-appropriate game packs (1 Math, 1 Reading)
• Your choice of Brain Quest or Summer Bridge (Activity Books - descriptions below)
• Deck of Playing Cards
• Bilingual Conversation Starter Cards
• Customized Instruction Cards
• How to Best Use the Games
• Rules for Classic Card Games
• Individually Boxed for Each Student!

Individual workbooks are also available for $15.

• The Summer Bridge Workbooks have been developed by classroom teachers to bridge the educational gap during the summer. The first part of the book (two-thirds) provides a heavy review of the grade your child is leaving, and the last part of the book (one-third) is a preview of the next grade to prepare your child for the upcoming year.
  
  The curriculum-based activities in the workbooks include the following:
• Phonics (lower grades)
• Reading Comprehension and Writing
• Mathematics
• Science, Social Studies, Maps & Globes (intermediate and upper grades)
• Suggested summer reading list
• The Brain Quest Workbooks are curriculum-based but infused with a spirit of fun. They are loved by kids, trusted by parents, and used and recommended by teachers. Brain Quest workbooks are packed with curriculum-based activities, exercises, games and challenges, all in full color. Also includes a pull-out poster and stickers in each book.
